Be it known, I have no knowledge of, and have had no contact, nor business dealings with Oden Music Inc., Jason and Paige Oden, or Daniel Oden, of Gadsden Alabama. I am not affiliated with any of these people or the entity of Oden Music Inc. I disavow all they have been accused of doing.

I am a resident of Summerdale, Baldwin County, Alabama. I have been here for 13 years. I have been tuning pianos all my life, however, I have not been employed by, nor affiliated with Oden Music Inc. I was, however, trained by Everette Oden, of Oden Piano Company. Not even the same company, owners or employees. Please do not confuse the two. Do not associate me with Oden Music Inc.

Do you have a piano in your home, or know someone who does, but it's never played because it's out of tune or just sounds bad?  How about the Church you attend? Or, the Nursing Home in your town?Is your child / student discouraged by sticky or misaligned keys? Does it make funny noises or click when you press the keys?

Well, call me and you can "Play It Again".

From age 10, every Summer until I graduated High School at 18, I lived with my Grandparents in Gadsden, Alabama. I had 3 Uncles, all now deceased, that opened, owned and operated, Oden Piano Company from 1951-99, a piano sales and rebuilding / refinishing store. A high scale street-front building with a showroom in the front and a shop in the rear, located a few miles from my Grandparent's home. A family business that provided jobs and training to me and a few of my Cousins.

Almost everyday I would travel around North Alabama with Everett Oden, my Uncle, co-owner and Piano Technician, I watched, listened, and I learned to tune pianos. When we worked in the shop I would rebuild piano actions. Everything and more than a student would learn under any apprenticeship or Trade School. Although, not a specifically certified by any Union or Guild, yes, I am formally trained to tune pianos and do most repairs that can be done without moving the instrument.

Through the years I continued to work there, part time, regulating and tuning approximately 200 pianos for them. However, in 1999, the last of the 3 Uncles passed on and the family business went to different owners.

I have begun business in the South Alabama area. I will tune your instrument to the highest standards, having respect for you, your instrument and the craft, tradition and pride of my family. I have local references upon request.

Call me for your tuning and action repairs and get professional standards at lower rates.
